The independent democracy of Taiwan held their elections, even as the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (CCP) threatens to seize their country. And it turns out America could learn a lot about running elections from Taiwan.
Taiwan, which is free and legitimate China, just elected a new president, Lai Ching-te, who reportedly insists on the independent status of his nation despite the CCP’s lying propaganda falsely claiming Taiwan. Unfortunately, CCP puppet Joe Biden took this opportunity to declare, “We do not support [Taiwan’s] independence.” Just another instance of Democrat hypocrisy on “defending democracy,” which they constantly claim to be doing both overseas (in Ukraine) and here at home.
If only America were as interested in publicly transparent elections as Taiwan seems to be, Biden wouldn’t be in office to undermine both countries. From Jack Posobiec (watch video on Twitter/X):
In Taiwan they count the vote publicly
They hold up all the ballots and show them to everyone
Anyone is allowed to walk right up and film them
Now ask why your 'democracy' doesn't allow this
Paper ballots only, no absentee or early voting allowed.
War Room’s Grace Chong also posted on Gettr:
“Taiwan’s democracy at work. Every vote is held up so that it is visible to the public. The result is shouted out, repeated, then tallied on a visible sheet of paper.
Anyone can watch, take pictures, or film. When the ballot box is empty, staff show the public that it really is”
So the Taiwanese actually have the president they elected. Meanwhile, America—and Taiwan—is being sold out to the CCP by a brain-dead “president” who is only in office because his party (the Democrats) stole the election from the rightful victor.
It’s a great result. The main opposition party is the Kuo Min Tang which is really the successor of the old KMT government in China after they fled for safety to Taiwan when the communists took over. Roughly, the parliament is not so much anti-communist as 70-75% independence minded.
Biden’s statement was crafted to please China. The US position is that the US will oppose an invasion but not support independence. God know how long that statement has been honed and polished for the day, along with others. Reminds me of the old ‘Mad’ cover for the JFK election. Congrats to Kennedy, the other to Nixon on front or back cover depending which was up.
