WEF, China, and U.S. All Push Digital Currency for Orwellian ‘Cashless’ Society
The globalist World Economic Forum (WEF) of the plan for you to “own nothing, have no privacy” and enjoy it, just wrapped up its summer conference in the dictatorship of China. As WEF schmoozed the mass murdering Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and expounded a nightmarish plan for the future, particularly featuring Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), the U.S. government was preparing to implement the prelude to a CBDC here at home. A tyrannical social credit score is coming your way.
Reclaim the Net reported “FedNow, Considered To Lay The Groundwork For a US CBDC, Launches on July 1st.” Here’s how the Federal Reserve describes it:
"We couldn't be more excited about the forthcoming FedNow launch, which will enable every participating financial institution, the smallest to the largest and from all corners of the country, to offer a modern instant payment solution," said Ken Montgomery, first vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and FedNow program executive. "With the launch drawing near, we urge financial institutions and their industry partners to move full steam ahead with preparations to join the FedNow Service."
Many early adopters have declared their intent to begin using the service in July, including a diverse mix of financial institutions of all sizes, the largest processors, and the U.S. Treasury.
Note that the US Treasury will be using FedNow. This wouldn’t be the first time the government under the illegitimate, CCP-pandering Biden regime has made a move toward CBDCs. In March 2022, Biden signed an “Executive Order on Ensuring Responsible Development of Digital Assets,” that called for “research and development efforts into the potential design and deployment options of a United States CBDC.” Then the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in Sept. 2022 issued, “Technical Possibilities for a U.S. Central Bank Digital Currency.”
And the Nov. 2022 G20 Bali Leaders’ Declaration, endorsed by Biden and published on the White House website, specifically supports “Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs).” Social credit scores are coming to the US—didn’t we already have a trial run with vaccine passports during Covid?
This happens as WEF, which works with US politicians and is partnered with hundreds of American entities, finished its summer conference. I highlighted some of the worst to come out of WEF’s Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC) in Tianjin, China, for PJ Media. From toxic and inefficient “green” energy to celebrating China for having government-owned healthcare to pushing dangerous artificial intelligence to making economies focus on “transformation” instead of “growth,” AMNC was a woke, authoritarian conference. WEF’s Klaus Schwab practically drooled over Chinese Premier Li Qiang, titular head of the most genocidal and dictatorial regime in the world (CCP), and a CCP stooge co-chaired the conference. And one White Paper released as part of AMNC was specifically pushing CBDCs.
WEF already laid out its plan for a digital ID that would be required to do or buy anything—including travel, owning and using electronic devices, shopping, social media, voting, and healthcare treatment and insurance. Did you call a biological man “he” instead of “she” on Twitter? Did you attend an event not approved by the government? No shopping or healthcare for you. At least, that’s exactly how a similar social credit score works in China, which WEF loves so much. The WEF white paper specifically says the following under “priorities” for Asian-Pacific CBDCs (right after helping “migrant workers”):
“Advancing cashless societies: Focusing on reducing cash use, promoting digital payments and enhancing financial literacy to drive economic growth and increase efficiency, while balancing privacy concerns.”
Oh, yes, “balancing privacy concerns.” Like in China, where facial recognition technology scans you at the gas pump and won’t let you fill up your car if you displeased the almighty government in some way.
What’s particularly disturbing is that most Americans don’t seem to know what’s coming, and many don’t care either—particularly young people, who think they are willing to sell their souls to the government for a little extra “convenience.” We have to reject the Orwellian “cashless” society planned for us, or we will end up like China, where anyone who attended an anti-regime protest or posted a critique of the government online wasn’t able to go anywhere, do anything, or buy even the necessities of life.
Take a look at your future, America.
