We keep hearing that gas prices are going down, but that’s only compared to the horrific prices from earlier in the Biden administration—not compared to the Trump administration.
I already explained how inflation isn’t slowing down, it’s just the rate of inflation that is slowing down—and if you look at some basic food staples, especially many of the staples of Thanksgiving dinner, it’s questionable whether the rate of inflation actually is going down. But the Oil and Gas Workers Association also provided some context on “falling” gas prices:
Yes, it’s good that gas prices on average are not $4 to $5 now (though it depends where you are in the country), but it was still better under Donald Trump. “Bidenomics” fails again.
