Syrian Christians Already Targeted by Radical Jihadi ‘Rebels’

While short-sighted Westerners, the Taliban, and Hamas celebrate the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, the beleaguered Syrian Christians are already finding out that the new boss (radical Islamic terror group HTS) is even worse than the old boss.

Christian Emergency Alliance posted on Dec. 11, “Syria: Today, churches in Syria were instructed not to hold Christmas celebrations, parades, or even display Saint Nicholas. The situation for Syria's Christians is deteriorating rapidly.” That was, unfortunately, predictable. Whenever Islamic jihadis take over a country, sharia is imposed and Christians, Jews, and any other religious or political minority (even sometimes other sects of Muslims) is persecuted and slaughtered. We saw it in Persia (Iran), we saw it in Afghanistan, and we are going to see it in Syria. Since Islamic sacred texts endorse jihad, rape, and murder, that is to be expected.

Yet the victorious Syrian jihadi “rebels” are now being supported and aided by the U.S. government, which previously had a $10 million price on the head of the “rebels” al-Golani, as he has ISIS and al-Qaeda ties and broke into the business by fighting American soldiers (for which he was imprisoned by U.S. forces). Not to mention he and his jihadis, the designated terror group HTS, fully support the terrorists who want to wipe Israel off the map, and already speak of “liberating” Jerusalem. Indeed, “al-Golani” refers to the fact that he was originally from the Golan Heights, which Israel thankfully now controls, but which used to be under radical Muslim control.

That number could drop drastically again. Aleppo used to be a center of Christianity in the Middle East, but now its Christian population is 10% of what it was in 2011. Thank you, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, for your decade plus of supporting Islamic terror groups in Syria and across the Middle East.

The Biden-Harris administration put Syrian Christians and other civilians, not to mention our own U.S. troops in Syria, in serious danger by supporting the crazed terrorist jihadis who want to bring the nightmare Lebanon, Persia, and Afghanistan all experienced within recent history to the whole of Syria.
