In Joe Biden’s America, you pay more for less. And if you don’t like it, there are plenty of Democrat economists, “journalists,” and government officials to lecture you on why you should be grateful, you stupid serf.
Fox Business reported that Joe Biden tried to claim December’s inflation numbers as a victory, when they’re not. As usual, Bidenomics hurt Americans. While Biden announced that prices went down over the course of the year, that claim needs context. According to Fox, food prices went up a stunning 33.7% since the beginning of 2021, when Biden took office. Energy prices are up 32.8% and shelter costs increased by 18.7%, Fox added.
The “typical U.S. household” paid $211 more in monthly costs in December 2023 than the year before, and when you compare the December costs to the same time in 2021, the increase in monthly costs is on average $1,020 per household. Unsurprisingly, Fox noted, a recent survey found 50% of Americans saying their financial situation has worsened since the (stolen) 2020 election. Let’s hope all those Americans, including low-income Democrats, remember who’s responsible and express their opinion accordingly at the ballot box this November.
“[Fox:] The [December] report showed that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price of everyday goods including gasoline, groceries and rent, rose 0.3% in December from the previous month. Prices overall climbed 3.4% from the same time last year…
While inflation has fallen considerably from a peak of 9.1% notched during June 2022, it remains well above the Federal Reserve's 2% goal. And when compared with January 2021, shortly before the inflation crisis began, prices are up a stunning 17.6%.”
I must here point out deceptive or somewhat inaccurate language on the part of Fox. Inflation has not fallen considerably. The rate of inflation allegedly slowed since the peak. So inflation is still going up, just not as fast—but you’re still paying more for many if not most items.
Bidenomics is an utter catastrophe for ordinary Americans, and no amount of White House and media propaganda can hide that.
