“President” Joe Biden’s Twitter accounts had the chutzpah to post about the “first-ever permanent White House menorah” (not sure what “permanent” means). Don’t get me wrong, I think Hanukkah should be recognized publicly by the White House. The issue is that Biden sent millions of dollars to terrorist-controlled “Palestinians” so that they can continue with their avowed purpose of violently wiping Israel off the map. Biden, as usual, is a disgusting hypocrite.
The Hanukkah story also has a lot to say about traitors. Judah Maccabee and his fellow warriors not only fought the Seleucid Empire, but also the Hellenists among their own people - those Jews who wanted to give up Judaism in order to be fully accepted into Greek society.
Along the same lines, the fact that every major civilization of the ancient world acknowledged that Judea (present day Israel) was the home of the Jewish people negates any argument that the nomadic Arabs who wandered in centuries later somehow have a claim as the true indigenous inhabitants. There's a reason why all the archeological artifacts discovered in the Holy Land are inscribed with Hebrew, not Arabic.
