FBI Whistleblower Warns America Post-Terror Attack of Feds’ Authoritarianism

After a jihadi killed at least 15 and injured dozens more in New Orleans on New Year’s Day, FBI whistleblower and podcast host Steve Friend warned Americans that the feds will try to use the attack as an excuse to crush liberty in the name of security.

“After 9/11, America chose security over liberty. Like Skynet in Terminator, the @FBI used its enhanced power to target the real ‘threats’ to its existence - citizens opposed to big government,” Friend posted. “Remember that when politicians call for new security measures post NOLA [New Orleans].”

Islamic terrorism expert Robert Spencer reported that the killer was a Muslim, but his mosque—without expressing shock, horror, apology, or condemnation—told its other members to refer inquiries to Hamas-linked CAIR. So the jihadi’s mosque promotes a pro-terror group, in accord with pro-jihad Islamic sacred texts. I think I identified the problem. Don’t expect the woke, corrupt FBI to follow up that blatantly obvious lead, however.

Friend’s warning is akin to Founder Ben Franklin’s sage observation, “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”
