Catholics in China have been suffering even worse persecution since Pope Francis and his fellow Vatican officials sold out the Chinese Catholics to the tyrannical CCP government. After the deal was originally signed, persecution increased in China, and yet the Vatican has renewed the deal now not merely once but twice. So one can only conclude that the pope, supposedly so focused on helping the poor and oppressed, is more interested either in money or Marxism than he is in helping oppressed Chinese Catholics.
