Dems Defeat Requirement for Senate to Ratify Dangerous WHO Treaty Amendments
“The idea is to make [COVID pandemic lockdowns and restrictions] a permanent state of the world.” —Jeffrey Tucker on the updated WHO treaty
Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) tweeted March 28 that Democrats defeated his amendment to require that any amendments to the World Health Organization (WHO) pandemic agreement be ratified by the Senate. As Johnson said, “Now we know Democrats are willing to relinquish U.S. sovereignty to a global entity.”
Watch Johnson’s speech about the various dangers of the WHO treaty below (including giving the WHO censorship power over “misinformation,” intellectual property rights transferred to the WHO, and increased US funding to the WHO):
I reported last May on how incredibly tyrannical and dangerous the updated WHO treaty would be, citing experts on Bannon’s War Room. “The WHO plans to finalize the treaty by 2024. It will aim to shift governing authority now reserved to sovereign states to the WHO during a pandemic by legally binding member states to the WHO’s revised International Health Regulations. . .the treaty would also allow the WHO unilaterally to determine what constitutes a pandemic and declare when a pandemic is occurring.” In other words, the WHO could declare a pandemic for anything and everything, and determine what measures have to be taken by national governments, including America. That’s a horrifying amount of power to give to an unelected globalist organization that is beholden to the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
But then again, the US government has also been infiltrated or bought off by the CCP (most particularly Joe Biden). So it’s not surprising that Democrats are willing to let a foreign entity dictate America’s domestic policy for pandemics.
