Brain Freeze: UN Secretary-General Predicts Melting Glaciers Herald Climate Apocalypse

The United Nations (UN), the same that celebrated World Toilet Day, has decided two years ahead of time that 2025 will be the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation. And to emphasize the alleged crisis of vanishing glaciers, CCP- and terrorist-pandering UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres had a meltdown of glacial proportions today about the supposed climate doom about to destroy the world and humanity.

Three facts alone undermine Guterres’s fear-mongering. Firstly, the climate alarmists have been warning that melting glaciers will make ice caps vanish and the climate apocalypse arrive for at least forty years (or as much as fifty) now. Just in the last 20 years, remember when melting glaciers were going to make the North Pole summer ice-free by 2013? Or how, when that didn’t happen, the Arctic was going to be ice-free by 2018 (spoiler: not even close)? Something tells me their predictions aren’t becoming any more accurate over time.

Secondly, NASA satellite data and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) data show that there hasn’t been global warming for eight years; in fact, the world has been cooling. Thirdly, all the globalists who scream that the apocalypse is nigh continue to fly around in polluting private jets, and many of them have beachside mansions and properties. That wouldn’t happen if these people really believed their own propaganda.

But no science or fact has ever stopped Guterres from spouting globalist, Marxist ideology, and it certainly didn’t stop him during his March 22 speech:

“Glaciers are also the world’s water towers.  They represent the largest reservoir of fresh water on the planet — supporting our nutrition, health, economies and energy production.  And nearly 2 billion people — one out of every four people on earth — live in areas where glaciers and seasonal snowmelt supply their water.

But, these silent giants are facing a rude awakening.  Human activity is driving our planet’s temperature to dangerous new heights.  Global warming is a global warning that we are on the wrong track.  And melting glaciers are the canary in the coalmine.”

The Academy Awards are already over, Guterres. Quit being so melodramatic. The world isn’t warming—it’s cooling. As usual, global warming is just an unscientific excuse to make people poorer and make governments more powerful and tyrannical.

“Antarctica is losing an average of 150 billion tons of ice mass every year.  The Greenland ice cap is melting even faster — losing 270 billion tons per year.  To put that in perspective, that combined total ice melt in just one year is the equivalent of a wall of ice fully five metres high, covering my entire home country of Portugal.”

The thing is, we can’t trust a thing these people say. In fact, “Scientists at the National Snow and Ice Data Center announced [in 2021] that the Arctic ice sheet extends 25 percent further than it did [the] summer [before].” As of Jan. 2022, Arctic ice was still stable. Something tells me climate Armageddon hasn’t suddenly started since then.

“In fact, a new compilation of data released by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) warned that global average sea levels have already risen faster since 1900 than over any preceding century in the last 3,000 years.”

How the heck do they know that? They can’t even be honest and accurate about the sea levels two years ago, and we’re supposed to believe these “experts” can tell us with any degree of certainty what the sea levels were 2,758 years ago, etc.?

“Unless we reverse this trend, the consequences will be catastrophic.  Low-lying communities and entire countries could be erased forever.  We would witness mass movements of entire populations — and fierce competition for water and land.  And disasters would accelerate worldwide — including floods, droughts and landslides.  Losing these giants would be a giant problem for our world.”

Guterres then demanded all kinds of government projects. Amazing how climate alarmism always turns into a money-laundering scheme that increases government control.

The world is facing a crisis right now, but it’s not a climate crisis—it’s a crisis of evil, corrupt globalists and tyrants working together to create one authoritarian world government. That’s the glacier we’re likely to run aground on.
