“You have to learn from history,” said President Donald Trump as he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced their plan to reject nearly a century of blind, idiotic ideology regarding the Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians.” The U.S. will “own” Gaza and many Gazans will be relocated to other Muslim nations.
Israel was given by God to the Jewish people as a “perpetual possession” (Gen.17:8) many centuries before the evil religion of Islam was invented, there has never been a nation of “Palestine,” and pretending that ceding Gaza to the Arabs would make them happy has been amply disproved by decades of events. Muslim Arabs launched an unjust war on Israel immediately after its modern rebirth, and the jihad has continued up to our present day, culminating in the Oct. 7 atrocities and the subsequent war. The overwhelming majority of “Palestinians” support jihad, and will always do so, because Muslim sacred texts command the killing of non-Muslims, especially Jews.
Jordan was create whole cloth by the British as a Muslim state to pacify the area Arabs (yes, the “two-state solution” already happened), and of course it did no such thing, because the Muslims don’t want their own state—they already have 50—they want to wipe out the only Jewish state. Furthermore, Trump’s plan to relocate nearly 2 million “Palestinians” not only removes many jihad-lovers from Israel’s doorstep but makes sense given the “Palestinians” (who started using that title in the 1960s) are a conglomeration of Arabs from other nations, including Egypt and Jordan. Time to ship them back home.
It would be best if Israel simply received Gaza back, just as it originally gave it to the Arabs, instead of the U.S. having to run and rebuild it and move in yet more foreigners; that seems likely to prove expensive for us and problematic for everyone. But at least Trump fully understands that the status quo on Gaza is a disaster and must be rejected.
Middle East expert Robert Spencer wrote on PJ Media:
The most momentous announcement of this most momentous of press conferences was Trump’s declaration that Hamas would not be permitted to regain control of Gaza and that, in fact, the U.S. "will take over the Gaza Strip... we will own it." He also reiterated his insistence that 1.7 million Palestinians would be relocated to Egypt and Jordan, explaining several times that this was necessary because the failed policies of the past should not and must not be applied yet again.
Hamas, Trump said, had ruled Gaza for years and offered no options for the Palestinian people beyond bloodshed and death. He sketched out a vision of a restored Gaza that would be an international area, populated not just by Palestinian Arabs but by people from all over the world who would be able to enjoy its renaissance as the “Riviera of the Middle East.”… giving [Arabs] the Palestinian Authority, and ultimately a state, would simply be establishing a twenty-third Arab state at the expense of the world’s lone Jewish state and would be rewarding the propaganda campaign that has [falsely] convinced much of the world that the Palestinians are actually the indigenous people of the area.
Even worse, the fundamental reason why all peace efforts between Israel and the Palestinians have failed is because of the imperative in the Qur’an, “Drive them out from where they drove you out” (2:191). That passage is the basis for the Islamic idea that any land once ruled under Islamic law belongs by right to Islam forever and that Muslims have a responsibility before Allah to remove any people from what they think is Islamic land.
Thus, the two people would never live side by side. That has been proven abundantly, not least by what happened after Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005. Instead of resuming normal lives, the Palestinians turned Gaza into a new jihad base. They will never accept an Israel even the size of a postage stamp; the Qur’anic imperative to drive them out will remain. This is why Hamas always breaks every truce, every peace accord, every ceasefire.
Spencer, as usual, is absolutely right. One cannot have peace with an enemy that believes it is worshipping god by raping your women, beheading your children, and gunning you down. You have to learn from history.
Egypt originally refused to take Gaza and the Palestinians, when Israel gave Sinai back to Egypt. The only reason they are interested now it the huge Natural Gas reservoirs Noble Energy discovered offshore. Which runs from offshore Lebanon, between Greek Cyprus and Israel, by Gaza and into offshore Egypt. Currently being jointly developed by Greek Cyprus and Israel. As big or bigger than the famous Qatar Gas fields. Turkish Cyprus tried horizontal drilling into it. Like Saddam did to Kuwaiti oil fields.
Trump knows the Gaza redo can be 100% funded by the gas, not a dime of US taxes are needed net net over time. Not only that, Saudis and Kuwaitis want a weekend get away that is Not 110 degrees F like Dubai.
