This is an interesting study. However, the publication does not appear to account for associated adverse behaviours concomitant with mask wearing. Such behaviours include, a misplaced sense of security, perpetual mask fiddling, failure to maintain adequate social distancing, and perhaps most important of all, a propensity to happily congregate en masse.
