School Assigned 11-Yr-Old Girl to Share Bed with ‘Trans’ Boy

A Colorado school district assigned a biological male who “identified” as female to share not just a room but a bed with a fifth grade girl during a trip.

Joe and Serena Wailes want answers from Colorado’s Jefferson County School (JCPS) Board and Superintendent after their daughter was assigned to share her bed with a kid who voluntarily admitted he was a biological male. Considering this occurred without parental knowledge or permission, and considering how JCPS chaperones sided with the “transgender” boy, the Wailes are understandably angry. The Daily Signal reports:

“An 11-year-old girl was assigned to share a bed with a male student who identifies as a transgender girl while on a cross-country school trip, according to a demand letter sent Monday. That girl’s parents are now calling upon the public school system to provide answers and clarification of its policies related to children who identify as transgender…The Waileses describe how their daughter, who is in fifth grade, went on a JCPS-sponsored trip to Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., in June 2023. JCPS had repeatedly told parents that the boys and girls on the trip would be roomed on different floors.”

The letter refers to the Wailes’s daughter as “D.W.” She was assigned to a room with three other students, one of whom was a boy pretending to be a girl, “K.E.M.” The boy himself told his roommates that he was a boy who identified as a girl. Understandably agitated at the thought of bunking with a strange boy, D.W. initially hid in the bathroom to call her mom and then met up with her mom, who described D.W. as “terrified and really upset.” Mrs. Wailes was also “really upset,” especially since the trip’s organizers had sworn that not only would girls and boys sleep on different floors, but they weren’t supposed to enter each other’s rooms without approval.

Eventually K.E.M.’s parents were reached, who announced that the boy was in “stealth mode,” meaning that they wanted their kid’s transgender identity to be hidden from the other students; essentially, they demanded that everyone pretend K.E.M. was a girl without acknowledging biological reality. The chaperones were decidedly in sympathy with the wacko boy and his creepy parents, though they finally and grudgingly moved K.E.M. to a different room…with a different female student.

“Throughout the entire evening, K.E.M.’s privacy and feelings were always the primary concern of JCPS employees,” the letter said. “After JCPS disregarded D.W.’s privacy and the Waileses’ parental rights, JCPS then silenced D.W., thus infringing on her freedom of speech, when a JCPS teacher told the three girls that they were not allowed to tell anyone that K.E.M. was transgender, even though K.E.M. voluntarily chose to share this information.”

This is outright sexual harassment from the school district, K.E.M., and his parents. It is disturbing and disgusting that, in America, young girls should have to face the prospect of being pressured into sharing a bed with a boy, without their parents’ knowledge.
