'Overpopulation' a Lie: Studies Predict Population Collapse Around Globe

The “climate change crisis” was greatly overexaggerated—as deadline after deadline for supposed complete climate catastrophe passed without the disasters predicted, the climate hysteria crowd just continued to move the dates and increase the frenzy. But the climate crisis isn’t the only fake catastrophe about which we were lied to—turns out overpopulation isn’t such a problem. In fact, the opposite is true; if humanity doesn’t do a massive turnaround in the near future, much of the world will be facing an actually dire population collapse.

“[Epoch Times] Amid the deluge of dire predictions that the human population will rise exponentially, deplete the earth’s resources, and overheat the planet, two recent demographic studies predict the opposite—that the number of people will peak within the next several decades and then begin a phase of steady, irreversible decline.

In some places, including Japan, Russia, South Korea, and most countries in Europe, that population collapse has already begun. China is not far behind.

The United Nations has predicted that humanity will continue its rapid expansion into the next century, growing from just under 8 billion today to more than 11 billion by 2100. An oft-repeated interpretation of this data is that people are having too many babies, and many of the models for climate change and environmental degradation are based on projections like these. In August, the U.N. declared a “code red for humanity” over climate change and overpopulation, and analysts at investment bank Morgan Stanley stated that the ‘movement to not have children owing to fears over climate change is growing.’

However, a demographic study funded by the Gates Foundation and published in the Lancet, a medical journal, paints a much different picture. This study, conducted by researchers at the University of Washington, predicts that the global human population will peak at 9.7 billion within several decades, and then start to decline. ‘Once global population decline begins,’ the authors write, ‘it will probably continue inexorably.’”

What’s ironic, of course, is that several of the key people cited in this Epoch Times article as recognizing the trend of depopulation are the ones directly involved in furthering it. The Gates Foundation funded the study on the population collapse—and Bill Gates previously stressed the supposed need to lower the world’s population by 10-15% (including through “vaccines”) in order to fight “climate change.” Gates has also been tied to dangerous vaccine programs for years, including programs that were found to be doing forced sterilizations in various countries. In fact, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Gates weren’t happy with the results of this study he funded.

Epoch Times also mentions billionaire Elon Musk’s recent comments on the catastrophe of the low birthrate, and Alibaba Group co-founder Jack Ma’s agreement with Musk’s assessment. Yet Musk’s Tesla is reportedly among the companies that will fund abortions for employees if Roe v. Wade is overturned and Musk invested heavily in his Chinese government-beholden Tesla China branch. Jack Ma’s Alibaba is under the control of the genocidal Chinese Communist Party (CCP). So even the people recognizing the problem of population collapse are either directly or indirectly making it worse.

“The key discrepancy between those who project rapid expansion and those who predict decline centers on fertility rates. Dr. Darrell Bricker and John Ibbitson, co-authors of ‘Empty Planet: The Shock of Global Population Decline,’ combed through global fertility data and traveled across six continents speaking with people throughout Asia, Africa, South America, and the West. What they discovered concurs with the Lancet Study; both statistically and anecdotally, birth rates around the world are significantly below what the U.N. has projected.

Driving the population collapse is what Bricker and Ibbitson call the ‘fertility trap.’ For a country to sustain its population, women must have an average birth rate of 2.1 children. Once a country’s fertility rate falls below 2.1, it never comes back.

In 2020, the U.S. fertility rate was 1.6, the lowest rate in America’s history and a sharp decline from 3.7 in 1960. Europe’s average fertility rate is 1.5. Among other top-10 countries, the Lancet Study reports that Japan’s fertility rate is currently 1.3. China’s fertility rate ranges from 1.3 to 1.5, depending on the source, but some estimates put it as low as 1.15.”

Not only are tyrannical governments and terrorist organizations committing genocides around the world (for instance in China and Nigeria), but much of humanity—particularly Asia, Europe, and America—are essentially committing population suicide.

“Going from a birth rate of 5 to a birth rate below 2, writes Stanford University Economist Charles I. Jones, is the difference between ‘exponential growth in both population and living standards and an empty planet, in which incomes stagnate and the population vanishes.’ Jones’ March 2022 report, titled ‘Consequences of a Declining Population,’ describes what he calls the ‘empty planet result,’ featuring not only a decline in human prosperity, but also a depletion of culture, ideas, and innovation.”

But that’s the whole point—an empty (or nearly empty) planet. Many of the elitist globalists envision a world driven by CGI and robotics—a world with virtual “Tamagotchi children” and AI worker “solutions.” They don’t mind greatly shrinking the world’s population—in fact, that was their plan. Unfortunately, like many an authoritarian utopian hitherto, I would say the globalists have no idea what a nightmare such a world could turn into, even for them. And as for the rest of us, there’s definitely no utopia planned for us. Will humanity wake up before it’s too late, or continue to put momentary convenience and pleasure ahead of family and mankind’s survival?
