NY Dad Loses Custody for Refusing to ‘Trans’ Young Son

A New York father tragically lost custody and any medical authority over his little boy when he refused to support the mother’s sick desire to make the boy “transgender.” Worst of all, the little boy, who identifies with his biological sex and does not want to be a girl, was initially transitioned at the age of three behind his father’s back!

Woke leftists now are either active sexual deviants and child abusers or enablers of the same. Young Matthew Hannon’s father Dennis didn’t even know his son was being dressed and addressed as a girl at school for years until he received a letter from the kindergarten addressed to a girl (note: the UK Daily Mail said it changed names in the report for privacy reasons). Dennis originally thought the letter had been mailed to the wrong address, but then the whole “nightmare” was revealed. Matthew‘s mother had shopped around until she found a “therapist” who argued that Matthew was transgender.

In fact, it was the sick therapist who wrote to the courts and lost Dennis his medical authority! Puberty blockers, which can have severe long-term effects, were recommended for Matthew before he was nine years’ old, even though the little boy is dressing as a boy again, and clearly does not consider himself transgender. Dennis described how hellish the whole experience was, especially since he has used up his money, and cannot afford to appeal the decision. He noted that it has been very hard for Matthew in school following the previous enforced cross-dressing. In a sane world, it would be Matthew’s mother who lost custody. In woke New York, Matthew’s only advocate, his father, was the one punished.

Transgenders are at a higher risk of depression and suicide. And if Matthew’s mother carries her point and manages to force him into taking puberty blockers or other transgender “treatments,” his body could be permanently damaged.

“NY courts ruled Dennis Hannon has no medical authority over his son Matthew because he refuses to ‘trans’ his son.

At the age of 5, Matthew’s mother sent him to a ‘transgender therapist’ behind his father’s back. She asked Matthew’s school to change his name to Ruby and use female pronouns in an effort to “socially transition” him. After seeing a therapist for 1.5 years, Matthew was recommended for puberty blockers at just 8 years old.

A year later, Matthew changed his mind and said he was indeed a boy. Dennis immediately asked for his son to be discharged from the trans therapist’s care. The therapist, perhaps upset at her lost revenue, wrote the courts in an effort to remove parental rights from Dennis. The courts agreed and punished Dennis by removing all medical authority from him.

Dennis is now only able to see his son a few hours a week for the crime of protecting him from medical harm. He has spent over $150,000 in legal fees and cannot appeal the decision due to lack of funds.”

We must pray for the Hannons. Matthew’s mother is still pretending he is a girl, in a blatantly selfish and twisted effort to groom him into being gender dysphoric. How many children like Matthew are having their lives and bodies destroyed because of the insanity of woke leftism?
