New Protests Sparked in Iran by 100s of Schoolgirl Poisonings
The anti-regime protests in Iran starting toward the end of 2022 made international news, as Iranians rose up against the political and religious tyranny of their radical Islamic, terrorist-supporting government. In usual style, the Iranian government sent in government thugs to arrest, rape, torture, and/or kill thousands of protestors. A new round of protests seemed to be beginning despite the horrific crackdown on the last one, as hundreds of Iranian schoolgirls were recently poisoned, reportedly by radical Muslims who object to females being educated. The poisonings might also be tied to the fact that Iranian schoolgirls were active in the original anti-regime protests.
The UK Guardian published an article Feb. 6, “‘They used our hijabs to gag us’: Iran protesters tell of rapes, beatings and torture by police.” The article contained horror stories of police beatings, brutal rapes, and torture of Iranian protestors, both men and women but especially women. The Guardian said over 500 people, including 70 children, have been killed by Iranian security forces since the protests started. Now, apparently, some individuals are trying to poison schoolgirls in a third of Iran’s provinces.
But, after all, Iran’s government is a major state sponsor of terrorism and Ayatollah Khamenei treats the vicious mass murderer Qassem Soleimani as a saint beyond compare (though he has hypocritically called the recent poisonings an “unforgivable crime”). Khamenei also has openly called for the death or violent targeting of Israel and America (and the latter’s politicians). In such a country, ruled by a terrorism-supporting government, it’s sad but not surprising that widespread terrorism would occur.
“[Reuters, March 4] Worried parents protested in Iran's capital Tehran and other cities on Saturday over a wave of suspected poison attacks that have affected schoolgirls in dozens of schools, according to Iranian news agencies and social media videos.
The so-far unexplained illnesses have affected hundreds of schoolgirls in recent months. Iranian officials believe the girls may have been poisoned and have blamed Tehran's enemies…Sickness affected more than 30 schools in at least 10 of Iran's 31 provinces on Saturday…
A gathering of parents outside an Education Ministry building in western Tehran on Saturday to protest over the illnesses turned into an anti-government demonstration…Similar protests were held in two other areas in Tehran and other cities including Isfahan and Rasht, according to unverified videos…Schoolgirls were active in the anti-government protests that began in September. They have removed their mandatory headscarves in classrooms, torn up pictures of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and called for his death.”
Khamenei heads a government that is openly a state sponsor of terrorism and he calls for terrorism and war against other nations, as noted above.
In fact, considering how often the Iranian government supports militants committing terrorism against those the Iranian regime sees as threats (sometimes including their own people), one wonders if the Iranian regime had more to do with these poisonings than it will ever admit.
