Marxism and Satanism: ‘Communism Begins Where Atheism Begins’
“Communism begins where atheism begins.” This statement from Karl Marx explains so much about Marxism in general, and the recent phenomenon of Communism allying with Satanism. The demonic statue on the New York City courthouse, the most recent Grammys’ Satanic display, Target’s “Pride” gear designed by a Satanist, the LA Dodgers inviting a Satanist drag group…it’s all the natural outgrowth of Communism taking over our institutions in America.
Not every Communist or Marxist is a Satanist, naturally; many even masquerade as Christians. But because Karl Marx hated religion (particularly Judeo-Christian religion), because he championed atheism, it is not shocking that eventually Communism, or at least some Communists, became allies with Satanism.
Both ideologies hate and defy God, wish to destroy objective morality, and believe the ends justify the means. It is true that Satanism deceptively promises more freedom, but sin not only ends up making a man less rather than more free, but it does not lend itself generally to original and independent thought. Put simply, sin is a negative, while good is a creative or positive; and so as Satanism is inevitably a group-oriented cult, so Communism also demands absolute loyalty to the group or party, and furiously persecutes anyone who tries to think independently of that dichotomy. “We deny all morality taken from super-human or non-class conceptions. We say that this is a deception, a swindle, a befogging of the minds of the workers and peasants in the interests of the landlords and the capitalists,” Russian Communist Vladimir Lenin said.
The great 20th century American Catholic preacher Bishop Fulton Sheen said in his book Communism and the Conscience of the West:
“The ethics of communism are the natural sequence of its materialistic belief…Morality as consonance with the Eternal Law of God reflected in conscience is denied, since it is not God but economics which makes morality. There would logically be a repudiation of both the Jewish belief in a Divine Law as expressed in the Ten Commandments and the Greek view of a Divine Order expressing itself in purpose and fixed behavior…If a man is a member of the Communist class he is predestined as was the Calvinist of old, except that his heaven will be the classless kingdom on earth.”
Sheen also said:
“The truth on this subject is that communism and atheism are intrinsically related and that one cannot be a good Communist without being an atheist and every atheist is a potential Communist.”
To add my own observation onto Sheen’s, one might also say that every Communist is a potential Satanist.
