Leftist Insanity That Satirizes Itself

You cannot make these stories up. Sometimes real leftist insanity sounds as if it has to be a Babylon Bee headline. Here are several recent examples:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) attended the hyper-expensive Met Gala. . .wearing a dress that said “Tax the Rich.” Nothing like advocating for taxing the rich at an event with a ticket price of $30,000. Note the non-mask-wearing woke people fawning all over her. Another out-of-touch, brain-dead move from the Marxist Left.

Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley is being lauded for committing a dangerous and damnable act of treason. “Milley was so worried Trump might spark a war with China, he placed a secret call to his Chinese counterpart, assuring him the U.S. had no intention of striking,” CBS Pentagon correspondent David Martin boastfully related based on the book Peril by WaPo reporters Robert Costa and Bob Woodward. CBS and NBC praised Milley too. Yes, these loathsome traitors are actually backing Milley for secretly communicating on top secret-level issues with America’s most threatening enemy. I agree with Dante--there is no worse sin than treachery.

Professors at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and the University of Arizona said a merit system “is unjust because it rewards productive individuals,” as reported by Campus Reform. Yes, success and merit as we define it (that is, objectively speaking) are now supposedly “barriers to achieving the goals of justice, diversity, equity and inclusion.” Of course, in a merit system imbeciles like AOC and Milley would never get into positions of power, so I suppose it makes sense that the woke Left has a vested interest in doing away with any meritocracy.
