Kevin McCarthy Needs to Go
Yes, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) needs to go. I’m not endorsing a specific candidate running against him, but I am proud of all those congressmen who have risked their committee assignments and status in D.C. to try and vote out the back-stabbing RINO and would-be House speaker who has been helping ruin Americans for so long. It makes sense that proven hypocrites like Elon Musk and Mike Pence would endorse McCarthy, but it’s frankly astounding that Donald Trump is still foolishly supporting him.
Here are just three reasons McCarthy is unfit to lead House Republicans:
1) McCarthy, just like his fellow RINO (Senate Republican leader) Mitch McConnell, reportedly ensured that millions of dollars were spent during the 2022 election cycle to prevent MAGA, America-First candidates from winning.
Chronicles Magazine said, “According to The Washington Post, the political machine around McCarthy directed millions to be spent against Republican candidates in GOP primaries associated with the America First movement. Yes, you read that correctly. McCarthy surrogates, including Amazon lobbyist Jeff Miller, directed four political action committees to attack key candidates to McCarthy’s right in primary elections around the country.” Madison Cawthorn and Joe Kent, both hard-core fighters, were among those McCarthy helped cheat of their congressional seats. Ultimately, McCarthy cares more for his own control and convenience than for saving the country.
2) McCarthy said at different times that he thought Donald Trump needed to claim responsibility for the events of Jan. 6, 2021 (even though Trump explicitly called for peace and there was always evidence that there was something fishy and contrived about the “riot”), and that the American people as a whole were responsible. “I think everybody in the country bears responsibility,” the UK Daily Mail quoted McCarthy, who also refused in the face of widespread evidence to admit that Joe Biden is an illegitimate president who stole the election. There is now strong evidence that feds, particularly the FBI, deliberately orchestrated the Jan. 6 “riot,” which in fact involved very little violence overall from the protestors (particularly from actual MAGA protestors).
You know what McCarthy hasn’t done? Demanded justice for the Jan. 6 prisoners being literally tortured and treated worse than foreign terrorists. He did condemn the innocent protestors, though.
3) As Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has emphasized, McCarthy has facilitated disastrous Democrat measures and failed to stick up for his own party’s supposed policies. “Gaetz pointed to McCarthy not blocking Democrats from passing budget bills, pushing for immigration bills that included amnesty and not doing more to hold accountable government officials who [targeted] former President Donald Trump. . .‘remember that Kevin McCarthy has been holding up a shield to protect some of the dangerous elements of society that have harmed conservatives,’ [Gaetz said].” As Article III Project founder Mike Davis said, McCarthy is a “creature of the swamp.”
Kevin McCarthy has back-stabbed both his fellow Republicans and the American people, helped destructive legislation pass, and proved again and again that he cares more for his political career than for justice and freedom. It’s time for new leadership of House Republicans.
