A group of Jan. 6 political prisoners has gone on a hunger strike to protest the partisan persecution and harsh physical mistreatment they have suffered.
One high-profile J6er, Jake Lang, has reportedly lost several pounds after four days of the hunger strike and the jail has threatened to shut off his water. The Gateway Pundit relayed Jake’s statement, “if you cut my water off, my death will be on your hands! God is watching!” Jake has been in jail for over three years without trial, much of that time—and for longer than the legal limit—in solitary confinement.
The J6 prisoners have a list of demands. These include a new Jan. 6 House Committee that is objective and not merely for the purpose of targeting Trump supporters. To that end, the prisoners hope to see the J6ers themselves along with Capitol Police officers, FBI whistleblowers, and federal agents planted in the crowd that day in 2021 come testify. The prisoners further ask for a congressional committee formed specifically to investigate over-charging and over-sentencing of Jan. 6 defendants and hold those responsible to account.
The J6 prisoners also want all of the more than 40,000 hours of the footage from Jan. 6, 2021, to be released unredacted and fully accessible to the public (House GOP released most but not all of the footage). Finally, the prisoners on the hunger strike demand financial compensation for their family members who suffered from the partisan government campaign again J6ers, and for Congress to pass a budget defunding the federal agencies and prisons that have mistreated the J6 prisoners.

Multiple sources have reported terrible conditions for the January 6 prisoners, including statements from lawmakers and a court ruling, as well as Dinesh D’Souza’s movie “Police State.” Many of the prisoners throughout the course of their incarceration have been deprived not only of their rights but of basic necessities. America is becoming a banana republic.
Dear Almighty God, Please bring freedom, total justice and Your healing to every one of the January 6 Political Prisoners and all of their loved ones. Also, thank you Catherine for bringing attention to these patriotic Heroes and Heroines and what they have heartbreakingly and unbelievably been going through for three and a half years.
