Almost immediately after I posted my MRC article “Worst Censorship of July: Election Censorship Heats Up,” Facebook sent me the following notice: “We removed your post…It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way…This goes against our Community Standards on Spam.” The article, written by me and published on MRC Free Speech America, described egregious instances of Big Tech censorship—including Meta’s Facebook and Instagram censoring iconic images of Donald Trump after the assassination attempt, and MetaAI claiming for days after the shooting that no assassination attempt had occurred.
