Elementary School Counselor Mentioned ‘Gender’ in 3400+ Emails
Concerned parent and whistleblower Nicole Solas tweeted April 30 that “An elementary school counselor should not have 3,432 pages of emails talking about gender. And it should not cost me $2,559.75 to see them.” She’s referring to a request she sent for emails of school counselor Jennifer Enck in South Kingstown School District, Rhode Island. She was told by the school district she had to pay a fee of a whopping $2,559.75 to see the emails. All aimed at preventing Solas from actually being able to see the emails, no doubt.
So a parent has to pay over $2,000 to discover exactly how a school counselor, presumably with access to her children, has an insane obsession with “gender”, i.e. LGBTQ ideology. This counselor is the kind of sexual pervert leftist being hired and shielded by schools to brainwash—er, teach your children at taxpayer expense. It seems the counselor, who is supposed to help and guide young elementary school children, is some sort of groomer for LGBTQ ideology.
Below is from the letter Solas shared from South Kingstown School District superintendent Mark Prince and two other officials (notice the school plans to “redact” part of the emails—I wonder why?):
“The South Kingstown School Department is in receipt of your request of April 16, 2023, for public records. Specifically, you requested the following information:
Emails of Jennifer Enck containing the word, ‘gender.’
Response: With respect to the information requested, the District must review 3432 pages of emails that came up as responsive to this request in an email search by the Technology Department. The District conservatively estimates that it will take 171.6 hours to retrieve, review, and compile said documents (3432 pages at 3 minutes per page to retrieve, review, and redact if necessary, divided by 60 minutes = 171.6 hours).
Therefore, pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws 38-2-4 (b), there shall be a search and retrieval fee for said documents of fifteen dollars ($15.00) per hour; for a total cost of:
170.65 (first hour being free) x $15,00 = $2,559.75…
In accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws 38-2-8, you may file an appeal with the Department of the Attorney General…or the Rhode Island Superior Court of the county.”
Public schools are now nothing but propaganda and brainwashing institutions for radical, woke leftism.
