Egyptian-American Analyst: Hamas Slaughters Civilians, Israelis, Uses "Human Shields"
An Egyptian-American political analyst revealed the ugly truth behind the pro-“Palestinian” narratives, saying that Hamas is happy to kill civilians and especially Israelis, and speaking favorably of Israel in contrast with its radical Muslim enemies.
Magdi Khalil said that Hamas’s most recent round of fighting with the state of Israel was meant “to help Iran in its nuclear negotiations with the U.S.” Speaking on June 8, 2021, on Al-Jazeera Network (Qatar), he said Hamas’s latest attacks ought to be called not the “Battle of the Sword of Jerusalem,” but rather the “Battle of the Sword of Iran.” The political analyst further insisted that Hamas specifically targets Israeli civilians and makes “human shields” of civilians in Gaza. Yahya Sinwar, Hamas leader, confessed that Hamas does indeed choose residential areas for military bases.
Khalil also stated that mothers in Gaza are forced to celebrate (or “ululate”) their sons’ deaths rather than mourning for “fear of Hamas.” Furthermore, Khalil said that Iran has in fact killed far more people in a single decade than have been killed since 1948 in wars with Israel.
Read the transcript of Khalil’s remarks below:
“Hamas does not care about civilians at all. It kills civilians in Israel using every possible method, and it uses civilians in Gaza as human shields. Yahya Sinwar admitted that [Hamas] was transferring its military bases away from residential areas and high-rises. He admitted that all their military bases are located in high-rises. No one believes him that they are going to move them. In other words, they sacrifice the civilians in Gaza, and they target every Israeli civilian, as well as the airport. If Hamas would have hit a civilian airplane with civilian passengers on it, this would be a cause for celebration for Hamas. Despite all this, compare the number of casualties [in Israel] and [in Gaza]. . .
We cannot call this war ‘The Battle of the Sword of Jerusalem.’ It did not change anything in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and it will not change anything in Jerusalem in the future. This was the ‘Battle of the Sword of Iran,’ not the ‘The Battle of the Sword of Jerusalem.’ This [war] was waged in order to help Iran in its negotiations with the U.S. over the nuclear agreement. [Hamas] thanked Iran and Bashar Al-Assad, and they thanked the Houthis in Yemen, and awarded them a shield [of honor]. Hamas is now working against the Arab region in its entirety. Hamas holds cheap the people who died in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon. The number of people that Iran killed in the last decade is many times more than the number of people killed in all the Arab-Israeli wars since 1948. . .
The tyrants exploit Palestine and the Palestinian cause for the sole reason of increasing their tyranny and controlling the public. [Gamal Abdel Nasser said:] ‘No voice is louder than the voice of battle,’ whereas in Israel, they exchange the body of a single Israeli soldier for thousands of Palestinians or Lebanese. . .Just imagine how they value life on either side. Women in Gaza are not allowed to mourn for their sons. They ask her: ‘Why would you cry when your son is going to Paradise?’ They turn human feelings into something abnormal. . .
They are ululating. Their sons are dead, and they are ululating. They are torn inside, but they are ululating because of Hamas, because Hamas is threatening them, Hamas is feeding them, Hamas is giving them money, and it is Hamas that is receiving money, the same Hamas whose leaders are now among the richest people in the world. Soon they will appear in Forbes magazine. To sum it up, look at all the Arab countries that fought Israel from 1948 to this very day, and then look at Israel. Which one is stronger? Which one is thriving? Which one has stability? Which one is democratic? Compare [Israel] to any Arab country.”
