Border Patrol Chief Admits DHS Head Lied About ‘Operational Control’ at Border

US Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz just confessed during a congressional hearing that Joe Biden’s Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas told an untruth when he said the Biden administration had “operational control” at the border. A Biden official lying?? Who would have thought?

As of September 2022, monthly illegal border crossing numbers under Joe Biden were three times the number of Trump’s monthly crossings. More illegals have entered the US under Biden, who of course took office in 2021, than during Trump’s entire four-year presidency. It’s deliberate mayhem at the border.

And don’t believe the lie that the number of illegal crossings are going down. The Biden administration just came up with a program that is meant to give supposed legitimate status easily to illegal aliens through the CBP One app, meaning many thousands of illegal migrants are not being counted in the statistics even though they are crossing the border.

The House Committee on Homeland Security held a hearing in McAllen, Texas…All 15 Democrats on the committee boycotted the hearing [including Bennie Thompson].”

Thompson is the Democrat hack who headed up the outrageously politically biased Jan. 6 Committee, so he’s full of garbage.

“Committee Chairman Representative Mark Green, a Republican from Tennessee, asked [Border Patrol Chief] Ortiz, ‘Does DHS have operational control of our entire border?’

Ortiz responded, ‘No, sir’…Last year, Mayorkas was questioned by Texas Republican Chip Roy about whether the U.S. has operational control. Mayorkas replied, ‘Yes, we do’…Asked again by Green if the definition of operational control is being followed by DHS, Ortiz again said it's not but would not say whether Mayorkas was lying or not. [Of course he is.]”

Reporter Ben Bergquam noted that the new CBP One program touted by the Biden administration and leftist media as a nigh-miraculous solution to the border crisis has, unsurprisingly, simply made the situation worse. I predicted as much when the program was first implemented.

The CBP One app, which (as noted above) was meant to help hide the number of illegals crossing by giving thousands of them “legitimized” status, has been failing, Bergquam said; and thus driving many thousands of illegals straight into the arms of criminal cartels to get them into the US. Criminal cartels are making billions of dollars off human smuggling and drug smuggling, Bergquam stated: “Everything Joe Biden has done is an absolute disaster.”
