Talk about rules for thee and not for me (or ze, in light of the US government’s ridiculous Pride celebrations). I reported last year on how Congress and the federal courts were not required to be Covid vaccinated. That certainly puts context around the Supreme Court’s repeated denials to those appealing vaccine mandates—they don’t care as long as it doesn’t affect them. But if the very companies producing vaccines, and the branches of government telling everyone else to push the vaccines, are not requiring their employees to be vaccinated—then they know something they don’t want you to know, and chances are it’s something disturbing.
Fantasy Congressional Hearing Some Time in the Near Future
Senator: "Director Wolensky, you were asked previously what percentage of CDC employees have been vaccinated. You refused to answer the question or rather said you didn't know. Director, have you been vaccinated?
Rochellel Wolensky- :Senator, I am fully vaccinated."
Senator - "Directory Wolensky, I presume that means you have received both boosters?"
Rochelle Wolensky- Silence
Senator "Director, is there some reasons you are not answering the question?" You indicated that you are fully vaccinated. I'm trying to get clarification on your answer. Let me ask it another way. Have you received Covid Vaccine and are you fully boosted and what are the dates you received those vaccines?"
Rochelle Wolensky- More silence.
Senator- Director, I take it from your silence that you have neither received a Covid vaccine and are not boosted?"
Rochelle Wolensky- "Senator, I don't believe that has any relevance for this hearing today."
Senator- "Director, I assume you are in continual communications with Albert Bourla and Stéphane Bancel CEOs of Pfizer and Moderna respectively. Have either of them shared with you their vaccine status?"
Rochelle Wolenskly - "No Senator, they have not."
Senator - "And you, of course, have never asked?"
Rochelle Wolensky - "That is correct, Senator."
Senator - "One last question Director. You have encouraged all Americans to get vaccinated, boosted, and most recently with EUA approval for children 6 months to 5 years of age, encouraged parents to vaccinate their children. What should these same Americans whom you have repeatedly encouraged to receive the vaccines and repeatedly emphasized they are safe and effective think about the fact that you refuse to reveal your vaccine status?"
Rochelle Wolensky - Senator, I would continue to repeat the message I have always given to the American people. I would encourage them to get vaccinated because these vaccines are safe and effective."
Senator - "Thank you Director. There are no more questions. I yield the balance of my time to Senator Feinstein.
