As we watch the new Nazis overrun American university campi, screaming genocidal slogans against Jews and tearing down U.S. flags to put up Islamic jihadi banners, one quote in particular comes to mind. As St. Thomas More observed many centuries ago, “One of the greatest problems of our time is that many are schooled but few are educated.”
If More thought education in England was bad in the 15th and 16th centuries, one can only imagine the horror with which he would regard modern America’s woke, Marxist indoctrination system. Even at Ivy League institutions, many or most students are increasingly ignorant and even illiterate, barely able to read or write let alone reason out a logical argument or repeat any accurate information about history. Most of these Marxist idiots could not explain to you why they believe what they believe, or even what they believe, let alone why their opponents are wrong (and that’s true unfortunately even of many right-leaning individuals, not just leftists).
