Democrats dropped allegations of racism and lewd sexual speech against North Carolina gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson on CNN. Despite the fact that lying CNN is the source, that the charges sound blatantly fabricated, and that Democrats have been falsely accusing Republicans of sexual crimes for over a hundred years, the GOP—including Trump—seems to be rushing to distance themselves from Robinson.
In the Internet age, it is easy for someone to hack into another’s account and plant false evidence, or simply to pose as another person online. I personally know more than one media figure who was the victim of this sort of devious identity theft, where individuals pretending to be the conservative were creating accounts with pornographic and/or racist comments. I think Robinson was onto something when he compared himself to fellow black conservative Clarence Thomas, who was also accused of sexual misconduct by Democrats (including then-Sen. Joe Biden) desperate to prevent his confirmation to the Supreme Court. “Clarence Thomas famously once said he was the victim of a high-tech lynching. Well, it looks like Mark Robinson is too, by a [Democrat opponent] who refuses to stand on stage and debate me about the real issues that face you,” Robinson stated.
If you can’t win on the issues, it’s always easy to try personal attacks. Democrats have been falsely accusing opponents of sexual misconduct to win elections all the way back to Andrew Jackson, and that tactic was especially weaponized against black men. The racist, election-rigging Democrats have not changed in their fundamentals since they were the party of slavery and the KKK. And we’re supposed to believe CNN when it tells us it verified the objectionable comments were certainly made by Robinson?
We have no idea if the allegations are true or not, but what we do know is that Robinson denies the charges and CNN is one of the worst fake news outlets. It falsely pushed claims the Hunter Biden laptop was Russian disinformation, perpetrated the Russia hoax against Donald Trump, called a destructive BLM riot a “fiery but mostly peaceful protest,” denied Joe Biden’s dementia and money laundering, and claimed Trump deliberately incited violence and criminal insurrection, among other lies.
Meanwhile, we are supposed to believe unquestioningly that, in the misty past, before he got into politics, Robinson (a black man) said he wanted to reinstate slavery and that he was a Nazi. This stinks of a Democrat and RINO plot. Why is it that Republicans always assume their candidate is guilty until proven innocent, even when those accusing him have a record of corruption, lies, and extreme bias?
Again, I don’t know if the charges against Robinson or true or not, but considering the above circumstances, I would be surprised if they were. Furthermore, even if he were guilty of some inappropriate behavior online in his youth (which, again, he denies), that does not mean he is not a very good candidate now. Let’s face it, in our highly sexualized culture, nearly everyone has unfortunately said or done something in his younger days that could be brought against him later.
But since Robinson is a hard-core black conservative who refuses to compromise on his principles and exposes the century-plus corruption of the Democratic Party, he is a living nightmare for both Democrats and establishment Republicans. If the CNN story turned out to be one more hoax, I would not be in the least surprised. And it is shameful that Donald Trump and other Republicans (Trump didn’t have Robinson on stage for his NC rally) are not standing by Robinson as George HW Bush (for all his many faults) defended Clarence Thomas against similar false accusations. Until a source more reliable than CNN can verify the allegations, Robinson is innocent until proven guilty.
Below is the short video Lt. Gov. Robinson shared on Twitter/X addressing the CNN allegations, along with a partial transcript:
“Well, guys, the news media is at it again. My opponent is at it again. You all have seen the half truths and outright lies of [Democrat] Josh Stein on these ads over and over again, and now a story … leaked by him to CNN, is appearing.
Now, let me reassure you, the things that you will see in that story, those are not the words of Mark Robinson. You know my words, you know my character, and you know that I have been completely transparent in this race and before.
Folks, this race, right now, our opponents are desperate to shift the focus here from the substantive issues and … what you are concerned with to salacious tabloid trash. We cannot allow that to happen…
Clarence Thomas famously once said he was the victim of a high-tech lynching. Well, it looks like Mark Robinson is too, by a man who refuses to stand on stage and debate me about the real issues that face you.
Instead, they want to focus on salacious tabloid lies. We're not going to let him do that. We are staying in this race, we are in it to win it, and we know that with your help we will. God bless you and we will see you — where? on the campaign trail.”
I will note here that Robinson has been transparent before about a controversial part of his past; namely, he previously admitted that he and his now-wife aborted their baby decades ago, a decision they regret. It is sad that Trump, who is also the victim of trumped up sexual charges right now, has not supported Robinson.
What did CNN say? Well, it alleged a great deal (it always does), but below is a sample of the extreme charges against Robinson:
Mark Robinson, the controversial and socially conservative Republican nominee for governor of North Carolina, made a series of inflammatory comments on a pornography website’s message board more than a decade ago, in which he referred to himself as a “black NAZI!” and expressed support for reinstating slavery, a CNN KFile investigation found.
Despite a recent history of anti-transgender rhetoric, Robinson said he enjoyed watching transgender pornography, a review of archived messages found in which he also referred to himself as a “perv.”
There’s a lot more, but you get the drift. It even sounds fabricated—the ultimate and exaggerated Democrat stereotype of Republicans. It seems particularly strange that a black Republican would supposedly have supported reinstating slavery, especially since Robinson is now one of the most outspoken critics of Democrats’ racist past.
The Democrats and their RINO empathizers are succeeding in their high-tech lynching. Let us hope that the voters of North Carolina will not be as gullible or as corrupt as politicians and media have been, but will vote Robinson into office.
Clarence Thomas, Herman Cain, and now Mark Robinson. The left will do anything to destroy a black conservative.
